Cafe Sua Da

Rarely do I have coffee but when I do, cafe sua da / viet coffee is the only coffee i’ll drink iykyk. Intense coffee concentrate (made from cafe du monde duh) extra bitter chicory, and sweetened condensed milky milk ooooo it’s rich, smooth, creamy n bold just how I like it! Must be served ice cold and tastes even better as it gradually gets watered down (if it lasts that long, that is) and yes I’ll have it at night bc it’s a beverage of choice to me not a caffeine fix. Somehow I’m convinced that i’m not affected by caffeine which may or may not be true, but I’ll never say no to a cafe sua da no matter what time of day bc it just tastes so fucking gooooood.

  INGREDIENTS

2 tbsp cafe du monde coffee
2 tbsp condensed milk
Hot water

  DIRECTIONS

In a glass, add 2 tbsp condensed milk.
Place a viet coffee press on top of the glass, and add in 2 tbsps of ground coffee. Slightly wet the grounds with hot water and screw the press down tight. Pour boiling water over the top and cover with the lid. Let it slowly drip ~ should take about 5 minutes. the slower the drip the most concentrated your coffee will be.

While it’s dripping fill a glass/ vessel with ice. Once it’s done dripping, remove the press and stir the coffee untill the condensed milk on the bottom is completely incorporated into the hot coffee. Your coffee should look concentrated, milky with a dark brown color. Pour over ice and enjoy!
