Rings and Other Things

somewhat a life update blog and order form!

If you didn’t already know, I’ve been living (and loving) in Houston for two (2) whole years now, and I just finished my first semester at the Glassel School of Art! Metallurgy is so fascinating, especially when it comes to jewelry. Nothing feels intuitive yet, somehow it does at the same time. I love it all, and since taking classes, I’ve never felt more naturally aligned with my endeavors.

end of semester critique: brass cuff, brass and copper orchid pendant, brass and copper planetary broach, and aquamarine ring in sterling silver. 

Making jewelry has been and will continue to be a challenge, but I find myself leaving studio feeling very satiated and ~happy with my work. Turns out, I love (art) school! ︎I know I am just barely scratching the surface,  but I decided to submit my pieces this year and ended up receiving a scholarship (yay!! wtf!!?)



Long story short, I feel extremely grateful to be here. I’d like to thank my amazing art teacher Sandie, and boyfriend Karl for igniting a fire within me. And of course all of you for the loving support over the years. I’m ecstatic to take kale label to new heights, and to be absolutely, entirely, utterly, and by all means immersing myself deeper into this craft. Prorsum! 


Now to the good stuff: Ring orders. 


As we all know, practice makes perfect and I need your help to grow. Right now I am open to taking orders at cost, which means I will be making little to no money. In exchange, I get to hone my skills and you get shiny jewelry for a fraction of the cost! 

Every ring will be completely handmade out of 925 silver (no CAD or tech, just saws, hammers, and sweat). Rings will be polished or left brushed, and will have slight variations due to human error. All orders will come with a Kale sticker and a polishing cloth to preserve it’s beauty and appearance. Since this is so special to me I am doing complimentary lettering with every ring order ︎

Orders will take about 2-3 weeks to arrive at your door. For orders to arrive before christmas, please note in Google Form below.

1) Add a ring below to your cart and check out. You will detail your size, stone setting, and everything else in step 2. Do not skip step 2.

2) Fill out the Google form ( CLICK HERE ) and we can get started on your custom ︎

Choose a style that is closest to your liking ((don’t worry, you can customize each style or change your mind (within my limits and artistic discretion)) and I will reach out to confirm before making your ring! Refunds will be given if it does not work out.
